It's hard to trace back the first moment Allison & Tyler met but it was some point during their shared time at Webb over a decade ago. Due to their two-year grade difference in school, their only shared class was Chamber Singers with the biggest event of the year being Madrigals where they would perform in Renaissance-era costumes around town (yes, there are pictures)! The touring season ended each year with the Madrigal Dinners, which were always performed at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral. Little did they know that some 14 years later, they would be standing in front of each other exchanging vows in that very spot. It's wild how life can give you full circle moments like that! And while Tyler and his feathered cap certainly caught Allison's eye (as evidenced by a few old Facebook messages they were able to dig up), their love story wouldn't start until much later when they reconnected through Allison's good friend from high school, college, and beyond - coincidentally, Tyler's younger sister Courtney.

Fast forward to late 2022 when Courtney and Allison ran into each other at a football game. Remembering that Allison played golf in high school, Courtney excitedly told her all about upcoming plans to play golf at Pebble Beach with her dad and Tyler. As fate would have it, a few weeks passed by when a last-minute opening popped up for the trip and Allison was asked to join them. There was no way she was turning that down, so she packed her bags and they headed across the country to go play at one of the most beautiful courses in the world. What was just supposed to be an amazing, once in a lifetime golf trip quickly metamorphosed into the beginning of a far more amazing, once in a lifetime kind of love. Tyler likes to say he knew Allison was the one after her drive off the #2 tee box. And Tyler's 87 at Spyglass had the same effect. As they say, the rest was history, and ultimately what has lead you here, reading about their love story :)

After getting back from the trip, a year of adventures and building a life together solidified what they already knew to be true. Tyler popped the question during a visit to one of their most special places - The Omni Grove Park Inn on December 9, 2023. It was the easiest 'YES' of Allison's life that she forgot to actually say yes until 3 or 4 mins later through a sea of happy tears.

They cannot wait to make it OFFICIAL this Fall with their most cherished loved ones surrounding and supporting them.
